Axe not what you can

do to your country, but what your hatchet can do for you.
Cindi Lauper is like who?
Original: In Your End Oh?*
Butt up boom...

But seriously folks. God is mentioned once, in each/(either) of the two founding documents. Con text aside...( a big aside) A search of each document did not find Judeo-Christian, Christ, Jesus or Jews in either. This points directly to the mind play that is not based on the word.

* an alternative subtitle was lost, by Jove.

George had a hatchet and only nicked the tree in the likely fable. Lop her Oh Really? Wierd word play.

Again I found these links, after my Franklin and Adams references.[**]

[Original Emailed 5-7-10 sans opening line: Only slightly recrafted today with Post-Weak-End comments and link.]

[**] refers to earlier yet to be incorporated emails. Well actually there is a pre-Lob her Palin Franklin reference here last paragraph under security. [In a search for our freedoms as taken advantage of by terrorists, the proper link was hard to find. But it was lost and found under our freedoms.]

[Update: the first two links have expired. Found proxies.(Current Stand-Ins) Following them I also edit "each" to "either", for math and English sake. ]

Thank G-D for GW!

Speaking of Cherry Tree.

[Note lack of link to GWB in current campaign, yet...]

(hint: the bottom line is the important link in the last link)

* this link's 1st two links are expired, yet are currently mysteriously prophetic**. (See "hatchet" for MSNBC proxy for what Xfinity currently links to.)
** I truly cannot be sure what those missing links were, but here are more recent possibilities.

[Although George W. Bush is no George Washington, we may have him to thank for bursting our bubble economy***.]

The Vision Thing

Statistics are people too[!]

No, I don't mean that, but they are a communication of something, from the Center for American Progress* If corporations are people, what are the charts saying, in these graphs. Maybe that Obama or the Democratic congress were the savior. Not that unnatural selection(Cherry Pickinghatchet jobs, by George[no Ben]) may be able to tell a different** story.

Some have said the market has some form of intelligence, Adam Smith aside, if that is the case the Obama was the cure for what Ailes the economy. Or it could just be a cycle, NOT!***

(I might suggest closing your eyes for this clip, and a ear of caution on the next.)

Slightly Too Late

THIS HEADING [Waverly Place]* was never posted.
Saved in draft [Waverly Place] 8-7-12 sometime.
Posted post CP or pie cutter, will anyone ask or
Shift Trek, on WD or
Gramm Rudeman BP (no squat).

* 8-10-12 THIS LEDE (THIS HEADING) has been moved down.
i.e. actually posted 8-10-12
"Waverly Place" replaced by "Slightly Too Late" (or L-ate)
Watch where you trek or dressage:
Any calculations of Romney's so called economic plans must take into consideration two things under the rubric of politics. Captain Mitt Picard and the three step outlined under the first three bullets below. (Not to aim at his wife's Dressage Horse or rubber/glue the horse shoe.) My points actually being, that under executive privilege, his plans are simply to "Make it so." And the Cheney principle, fire arms aside, debt doesn't matter. So (all due respect to economic analysis) any analysis that projects what his plans mean must consider him cherry picking or indeed etch-a-sketching his campaign Cherry (picked) Tree. BTW: George Washington and his cherry tree was one of the nations first etch-a-sketch moments. Ax not what you can etch-a-sketch... or was it hatchet jobs.
Pep to Biz Mall ?  Any one!

Apples and Oranges?

National Hyperbole?
Herman Cain is trying to explain his 9-9-9 or Sim City tax code, while Perry(or Romney) is trying to make the point that people don't want another tax, without pointing out the regressive nature of it. It really is apples and oranges, both of which will impact the 99% more than the 1%.
(tough segue)
(all+politics.)
[Cherry Picking the L word?]
[Local? Laffer? the Curve? Liberal?]

[My original intent was to note the rhetoric* in the hyperbole link, and get to my compromise-D point via "apples and oranges". i.e. who am I to recommend a Republican candidate? But suggesting that it go all the way, to the convention. Which itself is un-conventional, but do I have the facts to back that up? However...after last nights debate and a Rovian theory I have been scrolling over in my mind, could it be? Romney/Perry 2012?** In my opinion the best thing for the country is a more moderate Republican that will still be too right, that would allow Obama to hold the 99'ers. But that is not the way Republicans work, and it is even difficult sometimes for democracy to work. It is fine to attack an opponents strengths in a game or a battle and that works in politics, but that is not what works in governing.]
[Lions, and Tigers and Bears(please excuse the Wizard of OWS* analogy) is an apples and oranges and cherry picking procedure. For Republicans it is Tea or Koch and Rove, for democracy it is apples and oranges and cherry pitting. Pitting is a good thing, with apologies to Martha Stewart, not to mention George Washington, with his supposed hatchet.]

* not to disassemble in either sense, it is a great not so calm-pendium. Note that I did say "tough segue". And CAUTION please note that I do not always review the complete links that I insert, in particular the code of Rachel Maddow. And I cannot be responsible for links expiring or changing.

** Note that a more "realistic" combo(pardon the pun) may be Romney/Cain. And no pardon for the quotation marks, but the ticket would be more debate worthy. [OK, I pun on the pardon, but not the debate, with CAUTION.]

Bury the lede?

Or bury the hatchet?(1)

To be cautious, I am speaking of journalism and myth.  To be clear, I have not finished viewing the latter, but the former is certainly an example of Popperism and both contain quilting.**

The State of the Job Report

Think Progress reports 19 facts that could be known before you watch the State of the Union.
Number 3, more jobs created in 2011 than 7 of 8 Bush years.

And just consider what would have happened with the help of Republican Leaders.**

BTW: I buried the hatchet by not using other words.*

* or what would have happened without their help(a pun on job won)
** I had harsher words or a flip-flop of help, but if congress had worked, or if Obama had not compromised
[THE STATE OF THE UNION.]
